Hello
I am Jesse. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, I am passionate about working alongside individuals, families, and support networks to improve quality of life and create meaningful, sustainable change. I believe that the most effective support begins with understanding the person, their strengths, and the environments around them. My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a genuine commitment to helping people achieve outcomes that are important to them.
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology with First Class Honours and am currently undertaking a Master of Clinical Psychology. My academic background, combined with practical experience supporting individuals with diverse needs, has developed my strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex presentations from a holistic perspective.
My practice is person-centred, evidence-informed, and tailored to the unique needs of each individual. I enjoy working collaboratively with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams to identify the factors influencing behaviour and develop strategies that promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes. I have a particular strength in building authentic relationships and creating supportive environments where people feel heard, respected, and understood.
My approach to Positive Behaviour Support focuses on enhancing quality of life, increasing opportunities for participation and choice, and developing practical supports that are meaningful in everyday life. I believe the best outcomes are achieved when supports are collaborative, achievable, and aligned with each person's goals, values, and circumstances.
Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, camping, and staying active. Spending time outdoors helps me maintain balance and perspective, and reflects my appreciation for growth, resilience, and connection. These values continue to shape both my personal life and professional practice.
