Hello
I am Kerry. As a compassionate Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I am committed to helping individuals find their own path through life’s challenges. My passion lies in creating a supportive and empowering therapeutic environment, where clients can explore their journey toward healing and personal growth. My academic foundation includes a Master's in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Graduate Diploma in Counselling, and a Bachelor of Science, all of which inform my deep understanding of human experiences.
My counselling style is gentle, nurturing and containing, as well as grounding and practical. I work with clients of all ages, and my areas of interest include emotional regulation, adjustment and transition difficulties, behaviour and substance dependency, attachment trauma, social skills development, parenting challenges, mood disorders and complex trauma.
My therapeutic model draws from a variety of evidence-based, effective therapeutic approaches to personalise treatment plans that are meaningful and collaborative with support networks.
Beyond my professional role, I am a mother, dog owner and embrace nature through exercise. I firmly believe everyone deserves self-acceptance, safety and kindness in their lives—values that deeply influence my practice and approach to therapy.
